Middle School & High School
Middle School ObjectivesIn the intermediate grades, the focus shifts to using reading as a tool to learn about different subjects. Students have two daily language arts periods for reading, spelling, grammar, and writing. They also have one period each for Bible studies, math, science, and social studies. Each week, students have physical education, art, and music classes.
High School ObjectivesThe academic purpose of grades 9 to 12 in high school is to prepare students for post-secondary education, careers, and responsible adulthood. During these years, students build on foundational knowledge, develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills, and explore specialized subjects that align with their interests and future goals. High school also emphasizes the importance of self-discipline, time management, and the ability to work independently, all of which are essential for success in college or the workforce.
